Description
This dress is made from a vintage sheer flocked fabric. The dress is full and frilly with lots of lace. The slip and panties are also trimmed with lots of lace. This is the last I have of this beautiful fabric. The color is a pretty peachy pink. The dress and slip open all the way down the back for easy dressing. They close with snaps.
My models are Thumbelina and a molded hair Toodles from American Character. The dress is 11″ long and almost 6″ across the chest.
This auction is for the dress, slip, panties and bonnet. My dolls and back ground are not part of the auction.
I love baby dolls from around the 50’s – 60’s and love to sew for them. I try to recreate the beautiful dresses they might have worn in their day. I remember as a young girl going to the toy section of a department store. On the the top shelf were such pretty dolls in fancy boxes. I loved the dresses and rosy cheeks.
